The Windy City Youth Football League (W.C.Y.F.L.) is a not-for-profit member of the Chicagoland American Youth Football League (C.A.Y.F.L.). Our program has been endorsed in the past by the Chicago Police Department; various Chicagoland elected officials, and many corporations.

 

The founding objective of the W.C.Y.F.L. is to sponsor all interested youth from the surrounding communities of Lawndale, Garfield, Austin, Galewood, and Logan Square. To instruct and develop all interested boys and girls in the age group of 5 through 14 in the areas of good sportsmanship, overall fundamentals of football/ cheerleading and its safety requirements. We also encourage positive development of character, we acknowledge academic achievements, and encourage community awareness and participation. Our ultimate purpose is to grow productive, responsible, disciplined African American males and females through our program.

 

We need your help in achieving our goal! We are reaching out for assistance through contributions/donations or team sponsorship from members and businesses in our community, corporate entities, local politicians, and individuals who believe in the basic fundamentals in positive child development. The monies received from contributions will greatly assist us in defraying the costs incurred purchasing football attire, equipment and transportation to and from games.

 

The monies will also help us to sponsor those children who are not financially able to join the program. The majority of the children who participate in our program come from low-income, single parent households where the mother is typically the head of the household. Often times the children desperately want to join the program, but are unable to join because of the fees involved. We want to be able of offer our program to all children, regardless of their home and/or financial situation. Many mothers rely on our program for the wonderful role modeling provided by our volunteer coaching staff. For many young men in our program, this is the only contact they have with positive, responsible males. 

 

Our 13th season begins August 1, 2008. The Windy City Dolphins would like to extend our invitation to you to come and watch our program in progress. Practice is every Monday, Wednesday and Friday evening from 6:00 – 8:00. Regular game schedule will begin August 26th. All of our practices and home games will be played at Amundsen Park located at 6200 West Bloomingdale, Chicago IL 60639.   Please let us count on you to help us make this a fun and successful season.

 

The children of our community are our most important asset. Windy City Youth Football League (WCYFL) provides our youth with the opportunity to develop physically and mentally as they compete as a team. WCYFL is a non-profit public benefit organization that gives our youth a chance to participate in a competitive nationally recognized tackle football and cheerleading program.

 

Each year we strive to provide the best equipment and instruction in all areas of our football and cheer programs. Our goal in 2008 is to enhance “team pride” and to up-grade our equipment and gear for safer and better protection. As a Platinum Sponsor, your company or business name will be advertised at all of our home games throughout the 2008 football season. You will also receive a free lunch for two at our concession stand whenever you attend our home games. You will be recognized with a Platinum Level Sponsor plaque at halftime of our Varsity Homecoming Game and you will receive a full page add in our Homecoming Media Guide. You will be our VIP guest at our annual awards banquet as we acknowledge your true dedication to your community youth football program. Your business will also receive advertising on our website recognizing that you are a Premier Supporter of the Windy City Dolphin Youth Football League.

 

GOLD Level Sponsors: Your contribution of $2500.00 - $5000.00 will help enable us to provide the best quality training and safety equipment and the proper instruction to ensure safe play among our youth. As a Gold Level Sponsor, your company or business name will be advertised at all of our home games throughout the 2008 football season. You will also receive a free lunch for two at our concession stand whenever you attend our home games. You will be recognized with a Gold Level Sponsor plaque at halftime of our Midget Homecoming Game and you will receive a half page add in our homecoming media guide. We will acknowledge your true dedication to your community youth football program at our annual awards banquet. Your business will also receive advertising on our website.

 

SILVER Level Sponsors: Your contribution of $1000.00 - $2500.00 will help enable us to provide the best quality training and safety equipment and the proper instruction to ensure safe play among our youth. As a Silver Level Sponsor, your company or business name will be advertised at all of our home games throughout the 2008 football season. You will also receive a free lunch for two at our concession stand whenever you attend our home games. You will be recognized with a Silver Level Sponsor Trophy at halftime of our Midget Homecoming Game and you will receive a quarter page add in our Homecoming Media Guide. We will acknowledge your true dedication to your community youth football program at our annual awards banquet. Your business will also receive advertising on our website.

Player/Cheerleader Sponsor: Your contribution of $200.00 per player/cheerleader will enable an under-privilege child to participate in our youth program. As a Player/Cheerleader Sponsor, you will be recognized with a certificate recognizing your contribution at halftime of our Junior Midget Homecoming Game and you will also receive recognition in our Homecoming Media Guide.

AD Sponsor: When you donate $100.00 to WCYFL, your business card will be advertised in our Homecoming Media Guide and you will receive acknowledgement on our website. Think about it! That’s a lot of advertising for only $100.00
